American Legion Post 25 member and U. S. The American Flag and the six branch of service flags are replaced twice a year - Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Also on that day this year, the new Purple Heart Monument was unveiled in the park. The Verde Valley Military Service Park mission is to honor military veterans of the United States of America who currently live in the Verde Valley, have lived in the Verde Valley, or have Verde Valley connections and have honorably served their country.
